Project Summary
The Bracken Group developed a state-of-the-art car dealership for Poole Audi at Summit Business Park, covering nearly 4 acres. The facility spans 60,000 sq ft over two floors, tripling the size of their previous showroom, and opened on August 1, 2016. It features a showroom for 24 new cars, 80 used car spaces, 325 service vehicle spaces, over half an acre of rooftop parking for 100+ cars, a 24-bay workshop, two MOT zones, full valet and repair facilities, and three handover bays. This is the largest Audi Terminal in the UK and one of the largest worldwide.
Development Highlights
Initial site: ~5 acres, included a 1-acre motor caravan business.
Residual site: 3.98 acres with planning for a small dealership and 30,000 sq ft of commercial units.
Site marketed as a whole, Poole Audi’s proposal required the entire 3.98 acres.
Detailed discussions led to planning approval, deal finalization, and construction began in early 2015.
The building was completed and praised by Audi’s architect as one of the top 10 in the world.
